BEVA Gabion® is a gabion made of rectangular units of double-twisted wire. The double-twisted wire, machine-woven with hexagonal holes, is the result of the soft annealing of thick galvanized wire with quality according to SNI No. 03-6145-1999 (Gabion Wire).
The box is filled on-site with river stones as a permanent construction material that is flexible, permeable, easy to install, and environmentally friendly. Its mesh panels are reinforced at all edges with a wire diameter larger than that used in the mesh section for strengthening during construction. The gabion can be made to any size and can be divided into cells by installing membranes, which serve to strengthen the gabion structure and make the connection easier, more precise, and more stable. These membranes are made of the same hexagonal mesh as the gabion itself and are glued or bonded to the gabion base.
BEVA Gabion® is widely used for various applications such as reinforcement of soil retaining structures, slope & road reinforcement, canal lining, bridge protection, river banks, groynes, weirs and erosion control, earth retaining walls, and sea walls.

GRAVITY WALL
BEVA Gabion® are widely used as an effective solution for gravity walls. Utilising the weight of the stone material inside and acting as a strong gravity wall, it offers high stability and optimum resistance to lateral pressure from the soil and water behind it.
RIVER LINING
BEVA gabions can also be used as an effective erosion control material. The structure of the BEVA Gabion® is designed to withstand the hydraulic pressure generated by the flow of water, which is good for preventing potential damage to river banks. By using BEVA Gabion® as a river embankment, soil displacement due to water flow can be significantly minimised, thus maintaining soil stability.
GULLY CONTROL
Gully control is an alternative to erosion control with gabions, especially in small valley areas or hollows (gullies) formed by water flow. Here the BEVA Gabion® structure can withstand the load of water and material carried into the gully, slowing the flow and preventing further erosion. With the use of BEVA Gabion®, sediment particles will settle around the gabions, rebuilding the eroded soil and maintaining its stability.
CULVERT
BEVA Gabion® can also be used as environmentally friendly and sustainable culverts. By stringing gabions together to form a tunnel under a road or embankment, a flexible and efficient waterway is created. The gabion structure provides a dual drainage function where the material in the gabion acts as a water filter while retaining soil, controlling erosion and maintaining structural stability.
