BEVA Welded Sand Gabion® is a sand gabion consisting of a multicellular series of welded steel wire mesh (JKBL) with a Zinc + 10% Aluminium coating to protect the core wire and make it more resistant to rust. The inside of the sand gabion is lined with anti-UV non-woven geotextile for added durability in the field.
BEVA Welded Sand Gabion® acts as a temporary flood barrier, with a robust and easy-to-use system, this product is a great help for works that require a quick turnaround or emergency response. Without the need for special equipment, BEVA Welded Sand Gabion® is more efficient and durable than other types of products with similar functions.
This product has a load-bearing capacity of 2700 kPa per 1 piece system or equivalent to 135 m of embankment height. When properly installed, the Beva Welded Sand Gabion-based flood defence system can last for over 15 years, making it suitable as an alternative flood defence product. Sand as a filling material is also more readily available locally.
BEVA Welded Sand Gabion® complies with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) No. 03-3750-1995 and has been certified for the Domestic Component Level (TKDN). Its production processes adhere to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2018, ISO 45001:2018, and SMK3L standards.

Wire Material
BEVA Welded Sand Gabion® is available in Zinc + Aluminium coated wire. Produced with advanced machinery, certified with SNI-9039:2021 and have high TKDN value.

BEVA Welded Sand Gabion® offers two types of geotextile material, non-woven polypropylene and non-woven polyester, which can strengthen the structure of this product.

Each BEVA Welded Sand Gabion® is precisely manufactured from parallel rows and columns of intersecting wire mesh, welded together for greater tensile strength.
