BEVANANDA Hosts Industry Visit from Welding Innovation & Research Center FT-UI

On Thursday, November 20, 2025, PT Bevananda Mustika welcomed an industrial visit from the Welding Innovation and Research Center (WIRC), Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia. The visit aimed to bridge academic theory with industrial practice, particularly in welding technology.

About the Welding Innovation and Research Center (WIRC)

WIRC was established by Universitas Indonesia as an institution dedicated to advancing research, education, and human resource development in the welding sector. WIRC plays a crucial role in transforming welding technologies into high-value products that deliver economic and social benefits to Indonesia.

Its core activities include Training and Certification, Technical Consultancy, Quality Inspection, Maintenance, as well as Research and Development.

Integrating Welding Theory and Industrial Practice

The visit was attended by lecturers and participants of the 6th batch of the International Welding Engineer (IWE) & Welding Technology Training Program. This industrial visit provided participants with invaluable, comprehensive insights into large-scale steel welding processes in a real manufacturing environment.

The IWE training program organized by FTUI is internationally recognized. Participants come not only from within Indonesia but also from professionals working across various countries, including France, Dubai, and Australia.

Upon completing the comprehensive program, participants are awarded the International Welding Engineer (IWE) title—an esteemed certification globally recognized by the International Institute of Welding (IIW).
